Shadow Work

The term “shadow-work” is all the rage - but what does it mean? Rooted in Jungian Psychology; 'the shadow' (often also called the 'id'), refers to the parts of yourself, perhaps in your subconscious, that your conscious-self does not choose to 'identify' with. when left in the dark & unexamined, these parts of us still exist, operate, and often direct our actions and decisions. In order to feel the peace that comes when we are confident in our responses rather than reactive, we must understand the id's moves and motives. We must dance with our shadow to bring it to light. This workshop will help you understand the concept of shadow or id and what that means to you, and will begin to outline ways to understand and work collaboratively with it.

You’ll also get out of this:

  • a deeper understanding of your sometimes unexplainable actions

  • ways to help understand your innate or subconscious motivations

  • practices to integrate shadow-work into your self development habits.
